TIJN Eyewear

Fashionable glasses are still a fairly new concept for me. While I’ve been wearing contacts less and less, I still hide the fact that I can’t see anything clearly unless it’s like half a foot away. I always felt like maybe I looked too dorky in glasses, especially for pictures. However, my confidence is starting to slowly go up!

I’ve been following TIJN Eyewear for a while now. Their photographs are just so beautiful, which made me want to create some photos with their glasses. So when TIJN reached out to collaborate I was super excited! There are so many options in optical and sunglasses that it was hard to choose.

I decided to just stick with optical as I rarely wear sunglasses and it made my decision making a lot easier. Now comes the fun part! My top two favorites were Maaike in Pale Blue and Valeria in Transparent.

While Maaike isn’t the typical frame I would go for, I absolutely love the color and shape. Clearly my personal fashion preference revolves heavily around blues and whites, so it’s a no-brainer that these glasses are one of my faves!

I’ve worn transparent glasses before, but was made fun of for looking like a lil’ granny. Well, too bad now! I actually really like the style and don’t feel aged while wearing them. In fact, they are quite fun as I feel like Valeria can be worn with anything, even more so than my go-to black frames. Plus, these specific glasses are eco-friendly! Can’t make fun of environmental goodness.
