Things to Be Grateful For Right Now

With Chelle Thanksgiving Gratitude

Let’s be honest, 2020 hasn’t exactly been the easiest year. It’s been really tough and still is.

However, I don’t believe it is the worst year ever. Being forced to slow down has actually done wonders for my mental health and given me the time reassess my goals. I’m so thankful that I’m not constantly stressed or anxious anymore while also feeling as if I had no direction in my career or life.

If all the craziness of 2020 didn’t happen, I don’t think I would have recovered mentally, rediscover lost passions, or even try to do half the things that I have accomplished this year! Don’t get me wrong, I’ve definitely had days filled with struggles and weeks of depression trying to just survive in these strange times, but I am also very fortunate in so many ways.

I have a roof over my head, food, and a very loving and understanding partner. The latter is extremely important, especially when I’m feeling utterly useless. I am grateful that my basic needs are covered and more!

Instead of thinking about how much 2020 has been an endless chaotic storm, think of all the wonderful things that have actually come out of this year! There’s so much I appreciate and I could go on forever, but instead I’ve created a list of the top things I’m grateful for.
