Journal Prompts | Week 1

If you've ever found yourself contemplating the idea of journaling but hesitating to take that first step, let this be your gentle nudge, your invitation to just start. There are no rules to journaling, no prerequisites, only the willingness to embark on a journey of self-exploration.

Journaling isn't just about chronicling the events of our lives; it's a profound act of self-discovery and introspection. It is a sacred space where we can explore the depths of our innermost thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment or constraint.

Whether it's jotting down daily musings, dissecting complex emotions, or setting intentions for the future, journaling serves as a conduit for understanding ourselves more deeply

Start with these three prompts to get started:

How are you feeling this morning?

Start your journal with a morning check-in. Reflect on how you feel this morning. How do you feel mentally & physically? Are you tired, excited, content, or anxious? What made you feel this way?

What are your top priorities for the week?

Think about what you want to prioritize this week. It doesn’t even need to be specifically relating to work tasks or chores . Maybe you want to focus on your health or how you spend your time. What is important to you and your own personal growth?

Write a few words of encouragement you need to hear.

It’s time to start cheering for yourself! Instead of looking for validation everywhere else, tell yourself the things you’ve always wanted to hear. Remember to be kind to yourself.
