Blanco By Nature
Whenever a seemingly new brand approaches me, I’m always skeptical. To be honest, I have never heard about Blanco By Nature until I received an email for a social media collaboration. The clothing looked cute, but there was little to no information about the actual brand. It wasn’t a demanding collab and the email wasn’t sketchy or anything, so I decided to give it a try!
About The Brand
Blanco By Nature is a resort-wear brand based in Florida with eco-friendly clothing made in Peru.
While I strive to find more eco-friendly brands, there isn’t any other information on Blanco’s practices and ethics to back up their message. There is no transparency with the brand, so we can’t truly know. Plus, there simply isn’t an “about” page to understand more about Blanco.
Sizing
Finding the right size is always a challenge for me. Again, with a new brand, there aren't any reviews to help with decision making. Most of the product pages recommend sizing up because the size runs small. However, when looking at my typical measurements on the size guide it looked like the clothing was actually bigger than what I normally wear.
Personally, I would trust the size guide over anything else if you can’t find any reviews. There is a lot of stretch in each piece of clothing due to the elastic bands, but you still want a comfortable fit. I decided to go with my usual size and that was the best decision!
Fit
Between the dress, skirt, pants and top everything fit just the way I hoped for!
The Palazzo Pants were a bit long, but that’s always expected as I’m more on the petite size when it comes to height. More than anything, they were comfortable and something I would actually wear for lounging around or a casual beach day.
What I was most surprised about was the Salma Dress. I don’t usually wear strapless clothing, but after wearing it I fell in love with everything about it! It’s the first time a strapless dress stayed in place all day long while also being comfortable.
Final Thoughts
Blanco By Nature is a comfortable and stylish brand perfect for warm weather, vacation style, and casual wear. Their clothing is cute and affordable. ((Bonus if they are truly an eco-friendly brand!)) And worth checking out if you’re looking to update your summer wardrobe.
