Sweater Weather

Sweater season is one of my favorite times of the year! With SoCal being warm even during fall, it’s nice to feel all cozy once all the lingering heat is gone. The moment it gets cold outside I always get so excited to pull out my sweaters and update my closet!

Currently, I’m obsessing over 12th Tribe and all their cozy knits and sweaters. 12th Tribe reached out for an Instagram collaboration, but all thoughts for the blog are my own as there was no requirement to post here.

One of my favorite finds is the Sonora Brown Striped Turtleneck Sweater. My style is usually more minimal, but I wanted to try being a little more adventurous! I don’t typically wear brown, but I love the stripes and the fabric looked so soft!

The sizing with 12th Tribe was a little bigger than I expected. I’m typically a size small and love medium sweaters. However, I decided to get this sweater and a different dress both in size small, but both articles of clothing actually felt too big.

I’m perfectly happy with the sweater feeling bigger, but the dress just swamped me and wasn’t as flattering as the product photo. If you like your clothing to be more fitted, I would just double check the sizing charts and use your best judgement.

Online shopping can sometimes be an effort when you’re trying to figure out your sizing in a new store. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that 12th Tribe has quality clothing that feels nice to wear.

I honestly didn’t want to take off the sweater because it was so comfy! It kept me warm while I was outside and the turtleneck isn’t restrictive at all.
