Honestly, I just wanted to share this dress that I recently discovered at Billy J. It’s not often that I shop from new websites as I tend to get disappointed with what I receive. I usually like to stick to what I like and if I’m getting bored I’ll venture out and look for something new. And I’ll be honest, I’m also pretty basic and don’t experiment too much unless I can afford it.
Anyways! I went straight to the dress section and fell in love with the Sunny Daze Dress. I really liked the pink option as well, but decided to stick to white first as I wanted to just see what exactly would arrive. The fact that this dress was styled in two different ways with the ties really intrigued me. I love versatile outfits cause it just feels like you’re getting more for what you spend!
I haven’t discovered too many dresses where you can tie it in the front like a regular bow, but then also have the option to wrap it fully around the back and still have some length with the ties. I was curious to see if it was just for the photo or if it was actually legit.
Happy to say, this dress in the real deal! The quality is great, ties exactly as described, and is so flowy and beautiful! A perfect dress for spring and summer. The neckline also doesn’t actually feel too revealing either. From the product photos, I was worried that the cut might be too deep or revealing, but because of how adjustable the ties are, you can tie it to fit your comfort level. Plus, because of the length with the ties, you can style it in several different ways!
For petite girls, this dress might feel more like a maxi dress than a midi as shown on the website’s model, but it isn’t too lengthy. The Starry Nights Dress is also similar in style, but has longer sleeves and I was actually considering getting it instead, but ultimately I like the Sunny Daze Dress more! So far, I’ve been obsessed with how lightweight and flowy it is and just overall a comfortable dress.
As a little side note, I also decided to get the Spirit House Crop Top and I’m in love! It solidified my opinion that Billy J provides great quality, stylish items that fit my style. Even though I only got a couple items, I’d definitely shop again in the future! I’m curious to see if the quality remains as I know sometimes online shopping can be hit or miss even at a single store.
For now, these pieces will be joining my summer wardrobe!
