Dashing Diva Nail Strips
A few weeks ago I had the urge to paint my nails again. However, I didn’t actually want to put in the effort or go anywhere to get them done. I’m not a huge fan of fake nails either as my day-to-day work is pretty hands on. So, while I was in a little bit of a dilemma it wasn’t an urgent problem to solve. I could just not be lazy and paint my nails. But then as I was browsing the beauty section at the store, I discovered Dashing Diva!
Originally, I was just looking at nail stickers for an easy design to add on top of my polish. To be honest, I didn’t know what to expect from Dashing Diva. I’d never heard of the brand before and I just liked the floral design in one of the packs. Plus, they looked like stickers so I decided to give them a try.
These gel strips were super easy to apply, flexible, and fragrance-free. Usually I chip or smudge my polish almost immediately after applying, but these have been holding up really well. I definitely recommend, especially if you don't want to spend a lot of time doing your nails.
I never knew I needed gel strips in my life until now! They apply so smoothly, no wrinkles at all. Even when I messed up a little bit, I could reapply the one I was working with until I smoothed it completely onto my nail. It feels just like I painted my nails, but without the mess or acetone smell!
Most of the time I stick to white nails, so getting a pack on Dashing Diva strips isn’t a hassle. However, they do have curated palettes with set designs if you're wanting something more. I chose three different packs in order to get this specific look, but I know I’ll be using the rest of my strips when this set has worn off. I decided to get White Canvas, Lavender Dreams, and Blue Slate.
It doesn’t replace customized nail art like when you go to the salon, but gel strips are a great alternative for low maintenance manicures and pedicures! Regardless, the designs are still really cute and there’s tons of fun options to choose from.
