Creative Fall Photo Ideas

Fall always makes me so excited to create! A new season always brings fresh ideas. And while it might be a little chilly outside, there are so many opportunities to shoot beautiful photos.

Here are some ideas to try out if you are in need of inspiration.

Heart Leaves

It’s time to channel your inner kid and start playing in the leaves! Gather up a pile of colorful fallen leaves to lay in. And if you love fall as much as I do, create a little heart in the center to add a little more interest to the photo.

Can’t find a lot of leaves? Find just one to to show off! While I was searching for leaves, I found one shaped as a heart, but you can always use a pair of scissors to cut your own shape.

Fall Florals

Need an easy photo idea? Wrap up some colorful flowers in newspaper and choose your location! Keep it simple or go somewhere outside.

Flowers are such a great prop photos and you can always focus on trying new poses or styling.

Leaf Wings

Become a fall fairy by turning some leaves into wings! This idea does require a little editing.

So, if editing is not your forte you can still create some magic by simply having a friend hold up some leaves in front of the camera to create the '“wings." Pose with your back turned to the camera instead and watch your photo come to life!
